CADOL CHAPEL
It is on the road to Concarneau-Rosporden, in a small enclosure, set back from the ancient Tro Breizh road which, coming from Locmaria, leads to La Trinité, that the chapel of Cadol, or Saint-Grégoire (in homage to Pope Gregoire), dating from the 16th century, is located, as is its Calvary. Built by the Lords of Minuellou, the chapel houses several wooden and stone statues: that of Saint Corentin, Saint Gregory, Saint Barbara, as well as the Virgin Mother and a Pietà. It is dedicated to Saint Cado. The building, whose bell tower was struck down in 1915, also houses an altarpiece dating from 1650, while the bell tower dates from 1630 and the porch from 1651. You will be able to observe near the main door, outside, the old baptismal tank.
