THE HOUSE TO LAY
This timber-framed residence is surprisingly well-built.
La Maison à Pondalez is a mortal architectural curiosity. This sixteenth century timber remains surprising from the point of view of its construction. A magnificent staircase in carved wood occupies part of the space and allows access to the rooms upstairs. A large granite chimney and an inner courtyard complement the building. The house of Pondalez is a witness to the richness of the traders of flax linen in modern times, and also hosts temporary exhibitions.
