A remarkable lighthouse inaugurated in 1897 in Penmarch, it offers a magnificent panorama over the Bay of Audierne.

The construction of this lighthouse is due to the Marquise de Blocqueville, daughter of Marshal Davout, Prince of Eckmühl. Inaugurated in 1897, its luminous range is 45 km. To reach the lantern and admire the interior in opaline and polished bronze, all you have to do is climb its 307 steps. At 65 metres above the ground, you will then enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Bay of Audierne. Did you know that Eckmühl has its world championship? Yes, the world championship of his ascent! Un incontournable du pays bigouden ! Du haut du phare vous bénéficierez d'une vue panoramique sur les côtés bigoudènes. Ascension difficile mais ça vaut l'effort. Pour compléter la visite, rendez vous à l'ancien phare, juste au pied qui propose très souvent de superbes expositions d'artistes locaux.
