At the foot of the Celebrated lighthouse, a small, exceptional site that gives the image of a port as it stood at the beginning of the th century… The Saint-Pierre rescue station, created in 1901 and restored, houses the only rescue canoe to sail in a state of sail from all over France! He is in wood, recovery, over 10 metres and includes copper air crates and 10 oars. As a historic monument, on 6 November 1992, Father Poydenot, a name given in honour of his donor's husband Mrs Poydenot, nevertheless holds a navigation title, allowing him to participate in local maritime festivals. It was functional until 1913.
