The Saint-Anne-La-Palud chapel, located in the countryside, is a high place of catholic worship in Brittany. And as a proof: thousands of people gather for the Atonement which is celebrated on the last Sunday of August (a little forgiveness takes place in late July). It must be said that the procession with banners and traditional costumes does not lack look! It should also be noted that Brittany has always had a soft spot for Saint Anne, the mother of the Virgin Mary, because, in addition to being the patron saint of mothers, she is also invoked for the harvest of hay.
