This museum, inaugurated in 1992, is the only one in France to retrace the history of this tasty red fruit. From the arrival of a new variety of strawberry in the 18th century to its cultivation, everything is explained! The museum offers a varied scenography that also allows you to understand the heritage of Plougastel-Daoulas. Temporary exhibitions and many activities are added to the museum's programme. Something to please young and old alike!

Très bon accueil, musée un peu artisanal de prime abord mais les mises en scène sont bien réalisées et on y apprend beaucoup de choses sur, entre-autres, l'importance de la culture de la fraise dans toute l'économie de la région pendant très longtemps. Bref, si ce musée n'existait pas, il faudrait le créer. Le prix d'entrée n'est pas rébarbatif avec des prix bas pour les familles avec enfants et/ou séniors.
