Plougonvelin is home to the Absolut Mosaïque workshop, a member of the Grands Ateliers de France specializing in decoration, creation, restoration and heritage conservation. A monograph on the career of Jérôme Clochard and his Absolut Mosaïque workshop, entitled Fragments d'émotion, has been published by Éditions Atelier d'Art de France. The studio has also won the Prix Métiers d'Art et Patrimoine Bâti, organized by Vieilles Maisons Françaises and Ateliers d'Art de France, and has been awarded the Le Geste d'Or label on several occasions. The workshop is located in the Toul an ibil artisanal zone in Plougonvelin.
