MUSEUM MEMORIES 39-45
Museum a few meters from the Pointe Saint-Mathieu in Plougonvelin offering an opportunity to observe scenes of life at the time.
This museum, located 500 m from Pointe Saint-Mathieu (direction Plougonvelin), was created by two brothers who were passionate about anecdotes about the Second World War. Located in a renovated blockhouse on the Atlantic Wall, it offers a setting conducive to remembrance. On five floors, you will be able to observe scenes of life from the era, where everyone, soldier and civilian alike, tells their war, through an object, a document or a photograph. A new approach that gives this museum a new and very human side. An interesting museography, thematic rooms, entertainment: the bomb shelter, enough to spend a good time with the family. Plan 1h30 of visit. Note: you will also appreciate the unique view from the roof of the blockhouse to the entrance to the harbour of Brest, Molène and Ouessant....
