INSTITUT UNIVERSITAIRE EUROPÉEN DE LA MER (IUEM)

Created in 1997, IUEM is an institute specializing in marine research. A major player in French and European research, it is also a multi-disciplinary training center for hundreds of Masters and PhD students, thanks in particular to the Marine and Coastal Sciences Master's degree, the Marine Energies Master's degree and the Marine Sciences Doctoral School. Located at the heart of the Brest-Iroise technology park, the institute boasts 11,000 m² of offices, laboratories and classrooms, for 400 permanent researchers, teacher-researchers, engineers and technicians, as well as 400 students.
