KRAMPOUZ
Krampouz in Breton means "crepe". This company, located at the tip of Brittany, has been producing ducks (logs in the regional language) for 70 years. She joined the Product Association in Brittany and obtained the company's Heritage Label.
History. It's a bit by chance that Krampouz's story started. In 1945, in Pouldreuzic, Jean-Marie Bosser, an electrician of his state, cooperated a galelier for a parent. He'll never stop again. It was a simple metal plate. On the farms at the time it was placed on a tripod and was heated to the wood fire. Then came the gas ramp and electricity. His son, Michel, has transformed this rustic duck into a professional household instrument. The workshop then became a factory by moving to Pluguffan. His successor, Serge Kergoat, exported the Krampouz duck in more than 120 countries (USA, Russia, Singapore, Italy, Germany…).
The products. Krampouz is the specialist in precision cooking. His grills, waffles, planchas have nothing to envy his pancakes and ducks that combine robustness, reliability and comfort. The brand also manufactures stoves, baths, work plans, carts…
Employment. Krampouz has 70 employees. Its turnover of € 12.5 million is achieved at 33% for export.
