Starred restaurant in Pont-Aven where the chef focuses on an iodized cuisine based on langoustine and noble fish

Slightly separated from Pont-Aven, Taupinière is one of the two gastronomic restaurants in the city. On the way to Concarneau, you can not miss this beautiful cottage with a green facade where Guy Guilloux presides. He always takes pleasure in creating and preparing wonderful produce the land and the sea offer him, whether it is lobster, turbot or the langoustine of which he is a specialist and which he especially offers grilled in large fireplace. Guy Guilloux is a hearty chef. He considers himself, with reason and talent, as a innkeeper of yesteryear, that is why the client sees what is happening in his kitchen. His crab and spider crab crêpenette in its truffle flavoured sauce and the langoustine tails nems, his cod fillet in greasy, savoury and spicy breadcrumbs. Langoustine and veal sweetbread fricassee were invented by him. The work of an artist.

pour une première, ce fut magnifique ???? quand on aime les langoustines, le tourteau etc , adresse où nous retournerons avec grand plaisir ????

A mon avis la meilleure table de la région, avec un service irréprochable ! A ne pas manquer les langoustines grillées, un pur régal.
Le prix est élevé mais correspond à la qualité des plats servis

Très bonne table gastronomique. Nous l'avons découverte dans le cadre de l'opération "Mon invité est votre invité" avec un menu offert , un menu gratuit, ce qui est plus "digeste" pour le porte-monnaie. Les plats sont fins et travaillés, à base de fruits de mer (langoustines, homard, poissons) mais aussi de très bonnes viandes viandes (magret de canard excellent).La carte des vins offre beaucoup de choix. le service est soigné sans être guindé.
Le cadre est certes un peu vieillot mais authentique. Gand parking privé à l'extérieur, pas de problème de stationnement.

Excellent and fine meal around the theme of lobster.
Beautiful presentation, treat for the taste buds. Fine wine list and very good sommelier who granted each dish with a glass of wine to us.
Exterior parking station.
It's a shame that the interior decoration is veillissante.
