Halles are an essential part of Quimper's social life, animated especially on Saturdays, market day, where you can eat at any time.

Completely destroyed after the great fire of 1976, the halls were rebuilt to become what they are today. It is an essential place in the social life of Quimper. They are particularly lively on Saturdays, market day. It is also a place where you can eat at any time of the day: sandwiches, fresh pasta, sushi, egg rolls and of course pancakes. The old market hall will be moved to the Place de la Providence in the coming years. There is still time to come and admire the astonishing structure.

Cela fait deux fois que nous allons à Quimper et ne savons pas trop où déjeuner... Et bien au sein de cette Halle, on a trouvé un traiteur qui propose des sandwichs ayant un très bon rapport qualité prix....

quand on vient dans une ville, limportant c est d aller faire un tour aux halles. Alors, visiteur d un jour ou plus, allez humer ceux de quimper. La production des maraichers quimpérois y sont présents, sans oublier les langoustines, les poissons des cotes bretonnes. Ce que je prefere aussi, c est l échoppe de crepes!! elles sont cuites devant vous , et on sent l odeur du sarrasin, avec du beurre ou du sucre, un vrai régal!! bonne dégustation
