PÂTISSERIE LE MEUR
Created in 1907 in Châteaulin, the pastry shop Le Meur, which moved to Quimper after the war, is an institution of the city. It is particularly known for its specialty, Java, a coffee cake, which has just celebrated its centenary.... Since then, the house has declined about thirty pastries and other macaroons. The chocolates, for their part, are the creations of Alain Chartier, the best worker in France, based in Vannes. Located in the halls of Quimper since 1958, Le Meur pastry shop moved in October 2018 to a vast 140 m2 space that has become a tea room, where you can have lunch on the run with quiches, fine pies, crunch and pizzas.
