CHAPEL OF OUR LADY OF TREMOR
A place of devotion for sailors, this small chapel is located on the banks of the Aven in a remarkable wooded site, opposite the Château du Hénan. Dating from the 16th century, built on a rectangular plan, it was once the place of meditation mainly for sailors, whose day of forgiveness at Pentecost was the occasion for a religious procession. It houses some ancient statues, including the Virgin Mother, Saint Bartholomew or Saint Guénolé dating from the 16th century, as well as the remains of stained glass windows of the time, including one, flamboyant, decorated with the coats of arms of Guer and Quélen, as a testimony to the union of these two families. A cut menhir is also erected nearby. In a refined style, with only a wall bell tower as its only ornament, it brings us to meditation, to tranquility. A place of calm and rest that encourages reflection.
