One could almost forget the economic reasons for Decathlon's presence in Wittenheim. With a wide range of sporting activities on offer all year round, and for all ages, this sports store is as much about practice as it is about shopping. It's a clever concept, because when it comes to equipping yourself, you're always in the right place. To be closer to its customers, Oxylane is out and Décathlon Village is in. The infrastructure is indeed quite impressive, with a pond for all water sports (even fishing) and a track where joggers and mountain bikers can train. All year round, while shopping, you can see zumba dancers (fitness in general is very present) or badminton enthusiasts. The idea is to approach sport in a fun way, and the youngest are not forgotten. There is a wide choice of initiations and dedicated activities. Children's birthdays organized around different sports are very popular, so be sure to book well in advance to reserve a date. Courses during the school vacations are also very popular. Young mothers are not forgotten, for example, they can take part in "stroller gymnastics", with or without their child, we don't know. There's something for every taste and age, so there's something for everyone!
