ST. JOHN AND ST. DAMIAN CHAPEL
Chapel founded following an epidemic of plague, traces the entry of the classical style from Leon to the limits of Cornwall
Built in the 16th century following a plague epidemic and completed in the 17th century, it is a heritage jewel. The chapel bears witness to the entry of the classical style from Leon to the borders of Cornwall. The framework of the nave is composed of richly carved beams. The chapel was dedicated to Saint Como and Saint Damian, who were doctors and apothecaries. The sacred fountain, reputed to cure headaches, is isolated in the middle of the pastures.
