NOTRE DAME DU KREISKER CHAPEL
Chapel representing the Breton religious architecture, houses the highest bell tower in the region and offers a beautiful view
It is a major building of Breton religious architecture. Its bell tower, 78 m high, is the highest in the region. Until the reign of Louis XIV, the assemblies of the town's orders were held in this chapel, each in its place: the clergy in the sacristy, the nobility in the choir and the Third Estate in the nave! Its spire was saved from demolition by Napoleon I, because of its usefulness for sailors. In summer, you can climb the 163 steps and enjoy a splendid view!
