CIDER ROAD IN CORNOUAILLE
Route that proposes a gustatory stroll where you can visit up to ten PDO cider factories of Cornouaille.
Created in 1980, CIDREF (Comité Cidricole de Développement et de Recherche Fouesnantais et Finistérien) aims to promote and develop products from apple growing. The Cider Route was created to bring together several cider factories to showcase PDO cider. It therefore offers a taste walk where you can visit up to ten PDO cider houses in Cornwall and five others outside the appellation. You will visit, among others, the Kinkiz manor house in Quimper, the Paul Coïc cider house in Plonéis and you can walk from one place of production to another by crossing the orchards. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a walk on the beach, or visit museums on this route. Namely, you will taste in addition to the famous Cornouaille PDO cider, lambig, pommeau de Bretagne, apple juice... The Cidref has participated and won several regional competitions for cider products... An original and quality course, to be tested among friends!
