Château de Kerjean is built at the end of the sixteenth century. Typical of the second French Renaissance by its shape and its decor, it is surrounded by a wall with exceptional dimensions. Today, it falls under an estate of 20 hectares with a dovecote, pillars of justice and a fountain. In 2014, Château de Kerjean revives its fireplaces and makes tinkle its crockery during a reception. Kitchens with ceremonial rooms, the exhibition is a journey into the heart of the imagination and the culinary practices of the Renaissance. It is around the table that are concentrated dreams of abundance, from the utopian Cocagne country to the noble feasts. The food is also the mirror of a religious morality in crisis - whose interdictions are highly criticized - and a mood medicine defending a dietary balance. Gradually, from tables to tables, you can make out this part of the heritage that is built: French gastronomy.

Exposition intéressante qui montre le parcours spirituel de la Bretagne au cours des siècles. Les objets sont bien mis en valeur dans cet écrin Renaissance qu'est le château de Kerjean qui vaut le détour à lui seul.
