LANJULITTE'S CHAPEL

Chapel dating from the fifteenth century, preserved, abandoned and then renovated by an association, its interior emanates a real peace
Of all the chapels that existed in the commune of Telgruc-sur-Mer, that of Lanjulitte is the only one that has survived. Built in the 15th century, it was abandoned several times and fell into ruin. Renovated in 1677 but little maintained, it ceased to be a place of worship in 1955. It was the EOST association that worked on the renovation of its masonry in 2000 and gave it back some panache. Today, it has no roof, no door, no stained glass, but it is worth a visit to admire the beautiful renovation work and then one feels a real peace when one enters the interior.
