The Becker family has been established in Zellenberg for four centuries. They have been pampering their superb organic vineyard for 25 years. In the cellar, small vinifications give birth to finely fruity wines that sumptuously illustrate the terroirs from which they come. Notably the Pinot Gris Rimerlsberg 2021 (gold medal at the Colmar competition) and the Riesling Grand Cru Mandelberg 2019 gold medal at the Feminalise competition 2022. The tone of voice of the woman on the other end of the line was uninviting and schoolmarmish, which triggered me to write this review in the same tone.
Wine tasting is a well-known concept as far as I am concerned, for which a service fee is commonly charged. Furthermore, the winery benefits from significant purchases of wine bottles by the participants at the end of the event.
If such an event or tasting isn't offered by this domain, all fine. But please don't try to teach your potential customers going forward.
