Val d'Anast is home to an artisan cutler, blacksmith and engraver by the name of Pattrice, who practises her craft with passion and mastery. Pattrice began his career as a jeweler, but discovered his passion for forging and knives in 1999. Since then, he has opened his own workshop in 2001 and developed his skills in simple forging, sandwich and damascus. He creates folding knives with different systems, such as flat lock, forced lock and liner lock. In addition to cutlery, Pattrice is also a talented metal engraver. He studied this demanding discipline at the Conservatoire des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France in Saint-Étienne. His skills as a designer, cutler, blacksmith, engraver and jeweler are all brought to bear in the creation of his unique designs. Pattrice strives for elegance, originality and refinement in each of his creations, offering his customers the pleasure of exclusivity.
