ASSOCIATION PHARE OUEST
Founded in 1995 by a group of enthusiasts for traditional song and maritime culture, the Phare Ouest Association has, in just a few years, become one of the leading cultural organizations in the Cancale area. It has succeeded in raising children's awareness of traditional maritime songs, giving birth to the group "Les Pirates". In 2000, she began organizing the "Les Bordées de Cancale" festival, an event that brings artists closer to their audiences in a variety of venues: cafés, gardens, squares, cabaret tents, etc., held every year on the last weekend of September. Today, this festival has become a must for fans of traditional maritime singing in Brittany.
