Beautifully designed restaurant located in an old mill 30 minutes from Rennes

Located in a former mill above the Vilaine River, Ar Milin opens onto a 5-hectare park in the heart of Châteaubourg. With two establishments in one: bistro cuisine on the first floor and panoramic restaurant upstairs. To vary pleasures and... budgets. Upstairs, for example, you'll be served snacked rib-eye steak with grenaille potatoes and mushrooms, fillet of royal sea bream with a duo of creamy pan-fried vegetables and polenta emulsion, or veal osso buco with linguine and baby vegetables. At the bistro, suggestions are on the slate.

Opening time and information on AR MILIN

Le Bistrot is open from Monday lunchtime to Sunday lunchtime, from 12pm to 2pm and from 7pm to 9pm. The Bistrot will be closed from 22/12/24 to 06/01/25. Wine by the glass. Prices vary for starters from 9€ to 13€, main courses from 14€ to 26€ and desserts from 7€ to 9€. Children's menu from 14€. Groups welcome. Garden area. Free wifi.

Fantastic little mill hotel on the river excellent service with a smile and
great food. Dog friendly, good secure parking on site. Definitely recommended!

Nous avions réservé et pré payé, dans le cadre d'un salon professionnel. Le titulaire d'une de 3 chambres réservées tombant malade, nous avons demandé s'il était possible d'être remboursé le matin même et la réponse a été négative (ce que l'on peut comprendre). Par contre un autre collègue étant en recherche, nous lui avons indiqué qu'il pourrait bénéficier de cette chambre... MAIS NON, car l'hôtel a non seulement pas voulu rembourser ni décaler à une autre date la réservation, mais en plus ils ont re loué la chambre et impossible de loger un membre de notre société!!!

Plusieurs tentatives pour trouver une solution auprès de la direction, mais aucun retour...

Donc hôtel quelconque , politique limite de l'escroquerie et aucune considération du client... je n'y retournerai pas et déconseille de les payer d'avance...
