This beautiful medieval residence immerses visitors in the romantic atmosphere of a Breton château.

Enter the cradle of Romanticism in Brittany, like that of the famous writer Chateaubriand (1768-1848)! Built in the 12th century, this medieval residence immerses visitors in the romantic atmosphere of a 19th-century Breton château. The view of the building from Lac Tranquille is superb. There's also a boutique and a charming tearoom. A one- to two-hour visit to the château and its gardens will enchant you. Its beauty, mysteries and surprises make for a spellbinding and unforgettable historical journey.

This castle deserves 5 star, because it exudes a strange atmosphere, which is perfect for the castle of the family of Chateaubriand. In the Chateaubriand young, when you enter, and that you can see the immured dead cat, it is very odd and when a very strong noise heard everyone begins, and most whose me even request if it is not the ghost has wooden legs which grinds...
