Chouchen Dragon, aged in Scottish whisky barrels, is a regional treasure to be discovered without fear!
Chouchen has a long tradition in Brittany, and much more besides. Stéphane Mordeles has restored the product to its former glory, to such an extent that it is sought after to accompany certain dishes or make them sublime at France's finest tables. This alcohol made from honey and water, so long feared, can now be enjoyed. The reason: Dragon chouchen is aged in a Scottish cask that once contained whisky. Seven varieties of chouchen are available, including an Origine cuvée.
