Bistrot d'antan offering a locavore cuisine with local products from short circuits and organic.
Just a stone's throw from the Upper Brittany Botanical Park, the Galon er Breizh with its Casse Graines café is a bistro of yesteryear well anchored in the eco-responsible issues of its time. The farmhouse has kept its soul with its rustic tables that have been passed down through the generations, its open fireplace and its wood stove. Here one is a locavore and one claims it. The products are primarily local or from short circuits, and mostly fair trade and organic. A la carte: large salads, vegetable tarts, simmered casserole (with the speciality, the Rennes cuckoo hen), farmhouse cheeses and tart of the day. An authentic address run by chef Stéphane Galon and his wife Anne-Sophie.
