Botanical park at Le Châtellier, to discover the magic of local and exotic plants in a mishmash of perfumes and colors

In this enchantment of fragrance and color, children will enjoy a prehistoric garden, a suspension bridge and a plant maze. 24 gardens follow one another, including the Garden of 1001 Nights and the Garden of Ancient Roses. You can spend the night in one of the château's five guest rooms, take advantage of the tea room and terrace, or visit Le Casse-Graines restaurant. The park also boasts a garden center and a boutique with a wide selection of handicrafts.

Notre exploration est à renouveler car chaque saison offre différentes palettes de couleurs. Suggestion : la pédagogie par l'identification des végétaux serait un plus . Merci .

2nd visit last time the roses were in bloom, magnificent. This time the camellias were in bloom. Superb, never seen them as a hedge before let alone as a maze. Less than 10 people in park, so nice and quiet, can appreciate the bird song. Bamboo forest and Japanese gardens around the lake were really good. The various types of magnolia were also in full bloom and has not been impacted by the frost. Tea, coffee and cake available from the chateau, very classy and reasonably priced. The shop and plants for sale are very good. Remember there are rules about taking plants back to UK so check before buying anything. Main tip, check the Parc's website to see what is in flower when you are in the area. This is one of the attractions that is a bit of a secret and is not promoted too much.

Agréable parc botanique, bien ombragé.
Les chiens sont autorisés en laisse.
Par contre les prix ont salon de thé dans le parc sont trop élevés

Magnifiques jardins à une courte distance en voiture de Fougères. Ils valent vraiment la peine d'être visités. Les enfants apprécieront les lacs et les ponts. Les animaux de compagnie sont admis.
