Facing the bay, in the middle of the marsh, Mount Dol rises to a mysterious and fascinating 65-metre silhouette that never ceases to amaze. At one time an island, at another time a mountain during the ice ages, it conceals a rich past: habitat, hunting, tools. Mount Dol has been marked by the sacred since the dawn of time, from prehistoric times to the modern era: stones and other vestiges bear witness to this, Celtic, Roman and Christian, with the great confrontation between the devil and the archangel Michael.
