Château de Châteaugiron offers a guided tour to discover its fascinating history and admire its various towers
Listed as a Monument Historique, the château, built in the 11th century, has undergone many changes over the years. The Romanesque chapel, the oldest part of the château, is now a magnificent exhibition space for contemporary art, Les 3 CHA. The main dwelling, built in the 14th century, houses part of the Châteaugiron town hall. A guided tour immerses you in the castle's fascinating history, as you admire its various towers (1 hr 30 min. visit). The fortress can also be explored at night.
