PAIMPONT ABBEY
Paimpont Abbey in the heart of the Broceliande forest, benefiting from a starting point to discover its land rich in legends
The imposing abbey is surrounded by a large 17th-century dwelling. Built in the 13th century and restored in the 15th, the abbey church combines Baroque and Gothic art. The interior is richly decorated, dominated by local woods from the Brocéliande forest (stalls, 17th-century pulpit). There's also a treasure trove of silverware and an ivory Christ (17th century). On the other side of the pond, the parish garden features a grotto and altar. In short, one of the jewels of the legendary Brocéliande forest.
