This jewel on the banks of the Rance is a must-see! Classified as a historic monument and awarded the "Jardin remarquable" label, Montmarin is a jewel case. Come and discover the history of Malouin shipowners and 18th-century shipyards. There's a Louis-XV-style malouinière, formal gardens, a botanical garden and romantic terraces and gardens with a white Carrara marble basin. The Menus Filains pavilion tells the story of the shipyard. An idyllic setting, with an incredible grassy terrace overlooking the River Rance.

Très mécontente que la femme de la caisse ait attendu que j'ai payé mon billet pour m'informer que la maison n'est pas visitable à cause d'une coupure d'électricité. Le jardin est beau, mais 20€ à deux pour un jardin qui se visote en 10minutes c'est abusé. Si j'avais su avant de régler, je serais juste partie. Et bien sûr, pas de remboursement proposé quand je le fais remarquer.

Tarif d'entrée trop élevé par rapport à ce que l'on peu admirer. C'est vrai qu'il y a de la verdure, des arbres, une pépinière, mais à la saison de septembre il n'y a pas grandes quantités de fleurs. Impossible de visiter le château et la chapelle. N'y perdez pas votre temps.
