LA CROIX DES SEPT LOUPS
The Seven Wolves Cross represents Christ on one side and the Virgin and Child on the other.
Located on the road to Médréac, but also in the commune of Quédillac, the Croix des Sept Loups resembles the granite cemetery cross built in the 16th century. Facing the rising sun, the cross represents Christ on one side and the Virgin and Child on the other. It illustrates a legend about a young seamstress who was attacked by seven wolves. The young seamstress took scissors from her pocket and, using the moon, shot a beam of light to dazzle the ferocious mammals. The miraculous girl's parents then built this cross.
