Restaurant with terrace offering pancakes made with organic and local flours.
Pronounced with an Italian accent, Bretone was once the famous home of mosaic artist Odorico. While remnants such as the artist's bathtub remain, the place has become an excellent crêperie with very nice spaces - terrace, roof top, various living rooms - that blend into a refined decor with oriental touches. The flours are organic and local (Moulin de la Charbonnière). We fell for the salmon galette gravlax, sage cream and pickles. But Bretone is also a tea room where you can come and enjoy the delicious pastries during the day. The two terraces, one of which is a roof top, are undoubtedly the new spot in Rennes to enjoy the sunshine.
