Creperie offering traditional Breton specialities, crepes and galettes with selected products
La Gavotte is an institution and can be spotted with its wooded front and its reminders of Henriot earthenware. But what makes the strength of this address is the quality of its Breton specialities which combine tradition and modernity. The change of owners does not change anything. The small creperie with its farandole of colored lampshades and stone fireplace is an antidote against the capricious weather. The products are carefully selected: the flour comes from the Moulin de la Fatigue, praised by Pierre Gagnaire, the beers and ciders are home-made and local, the ice creams with unusual flavors (camembert, beet...) come from Ruffiac. Since 1994, La Gavotte has been delighting its customers with galettes such as L'Essentielle with free-range eggs, Label Rouge ham, goat cheese flavored with flowers, French Emmental cheese and Roscoff onions. A delight. The crêpes are also sought after with the unavoidable ones with salted butter caramel and homemade whipped cream, the famous ones with lemon cream or the flambé ones! A pure moment of Rennes delights.
