Full service restaurant with a good value crêpe in the rue Saint-Georges.
The Sarrasine is very typical because it has an emblematic interior of the 17th century buildings of Saint-Georges street. The exposed beams and the stone walls decorate your meal. Inside, the decor is simple and discreetly traditional. On site, the service is efficient but also very friendly and the full menu, pancakes, cider and coffee are of a good value for money. The house specialities are part of the best pancakes that we ate in Rennes. We enjoyed the Malouine, with its leafless cod poached with thyme and lemon on steamed potatoes with cream and onions fondue with muscadet which was a real pleasure! We also adored the delight of a mouse, with four cheese fondue. Here, the pancakes are noteworthy for their sauces, and for the creative mix of local flavours. Nothing is said about the pancakes… Just a taste to see if the Katell, pralines based, is worth it, and hop, you've got another surprise! Without forgetting a good frangiapni pancakes with cognac flambé. The ciders menu deserves a special mention. It is good, beautiful and simply very delicious!
