After running a guest house in Iffendic, Édouard and Daniela realized their dream: to open their own restaurant. Behind a half-timbered orange façade, the Mexican chef from Colima concocts nachos, tacos (to share or not) and quesadillas subtly flavored with coriander. Vegan, gluten-free and veggie options include tacos with fried cauliflower, pico de gallo, red cabbage and mayo-chipotle sauce. As for the Mexican flan, it's sure to please even the sweetest palates. At lunchtime, those in a hurry can opt for the torta - a Mexican sandwich - to be enjoyed, why not, in the gardens of the nearby Palais Saint-Georges. For a more festive atmosphere, try a shot of tequila or mezcal!

De l'entrée jusqu'au dessert, vos papilles voyagerons (ou retournerons) au Mexique.
Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de goûter tous les plats, mais le guacamole a le zeste et la texture parfaite.
Un gros love pour le tacos végétarien qui a su allier un savant ballet de croquant mou, croquant dur et un crémeux qui s'allient énormément bien avec la sauce verte et la sauce piquante proposées.
Le flan mexicain était aussi une belle surprise qui m'a rappelé le confort de nombreux desserts d'enfance.
Bref, n'attendez pas pour y aller !
