LA TOMATE
An excellent pizzeria near the Parliament of Brittany.
It's a very small but ingenious pizzeria, to make your cheeks rise with pleasure. The ceiling of this old building, a stone's throw from the Parliament of Brittany, is decorated with the colors of the Italian flag. It's stylish, warm, the fifteen or so small tables are perfect for a meal with friends or lovers. La Tomate is one of the best addresses for those who like thin-crusted, north-transalpine style pizzas. Light, wide, crispy. A pure delight. For those who love pizza creativity, the San Remo is a favorite, where mozzarella, tomatoes, bacon and basil are combined with Roquefort cheese to our great delight. The most classic variants are of course on the menu with the classic Rennes and you can enjoy at La Tomate - paradoxically - white pizzas... without tomato, but with fresh cream, the "bianca", another transalpine classic. To start the meal, think of the aperitif board. We conclude the meal with an inevitable Tiramisu to die for, or even better: a panna cotta as light as it is tasty, with a red fruit or caramel sauce. At lunchtime, a very attractive menu is proposed with pizza of the day. An excellent pizzeria, for which reservations are highly recommended.
