CIAO BELLA
Restaurant offering mouth-watering Neapolitan pizza recipes, homemade pasta and tiramisu, a good Italian address
With such a lilting name, you'd expect to be plunged into the heart of the Italian boot, and pleasant surprise: you are! As soon as you enter, the colorful mosaic pizza oven sets the tone, while on the opposite wall, black-and-white photos and traditional plates answer each other. The Neapolitan pizza recipes were so tempting that it was hard to choose, but the Sofia (San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, fior di latte, arugula, Burrata, cherry tomatoes, Parmigiano reggiano, olive oil and balsamic vinegar cream) and the Carla (Genovese pesto cream, farmhouse fior di latte, stracciatella, walnuts and fresh basil) won us over. The dough is soft and supple, the ingredients fresh and of the highest quality, like the Fior di Latte mozzarella from Saint-Gilles (35). On the pasta side, the gnocchi with gorgonzola also caught our eye. As an added bonus, all dishes are served in magnificent Italian tableware bearing the restaurant's name. We'll definitely be back for the homemade tiramisu!
