The oldest Lebanese restaurant in Brittany with an authentic cuisine at the best value for money.
Falafel is a ambience, laughs, smiles and mezzés. Falafel is a modern restaurant that also keeps what made its legend and its myth! Jacques Zakaria and Ahmed al Chaar have known how to create an establishment where you are wonderfully welcomed. The advantage of this address is that you will spend an excellent evening and you will taste their mezzé, among the cheapest of France and of impeccable quality. As the rest of the menu, the shawarma in Sfiha, the vegetarian fatouches, with delicious sweet, savoury spinach doughnuts, everything is fresh, authentic, at highly competitive prices. It is a reliable and well-known address in Rennes, which has kept a little family and popular canteen side, attracting a varied clientele. But Falafel, is much more than what is on your plate (which is already famous): it is an address with a unique soul. The reception is legendary, full of humor and kindness that you will rarely encounter elsewhere. Ahmed will bend over backwards to advise you, he is very caring with customers, providing advice about the cuisine of the country of the Cedar ("We, the Lebanese, we eat like this, everything is dipped in "hummos"). Students are also familiar to Falafel sandwiches and burgers, from €4.50. Unique experiences as it is the Lebanon that you take away or eat on site. The entire restaurant menu is to be tried, at least once, because you are certain to return. The friendly and communicative reception can never be overemphasized: you will always leave Falafel sated, smiling and fully satisfied.
