Burgers and various classic dishes in a restaurant with terrace in the heart of Rennes
Les Brocanteurs is a friendly address, marked by nostalgia and rooted so much in modern time. Even if the second-hand spirit has remained, everything has been remade inside - polished-concrete walls, comfortable leather seats, baroque mirrors, wooden tables... - and the facade listed among Bâtiments de France protects the soul of the house. The restaurant is well located: on a beautiful place in the shade of trees within walking distance from the docks. In summer, the stormed terrace is a true haven of peace. As for cuisine, you have fun looking over the burgers with original names whose recipes are displayed on the wall. We choose the same recipe as our neighbours who seem to treat themselves: burger with minced meat, broc sauce, fétà cream, tartare of tomatoes and cucumbers, coppa, salad and homemade chips. Good choice: it's true that it's delicious! The simple cuisine of Les Brocanteurs is also simmered casseroles, good light meals like boeuf bourguignon, tartares, gratins, roasted meats and grilled fish. Close your eyes and you will find, in the style of a Proust madeleine, the taste of the simple good things that your grandmother cooked for you. The chef Kévin Glet is very dedicated to the work and that can be felt in the dish, with the creative starters and desserts as a bonus. The address then becomes a commonplace. You feel good there, you eat well there, it's an address which easily becomes a second home. A little place of paradise to share with friends, between lovers or with all those who wish to have a pleasant moment.
