Small restaurant offering gastronomic and traditional sandwiches with seasonal products.
How about a charming, affordable, good and charming little restaurant of yesteryear ? ! Le Bistrot à Tartines stands out for its decor, its unique prices, its creativity, its appetizing cakes and its terrace often crowded. A true Rennes institution, this place plunges you into the 50's in the middle of the countryside. You will find large wooden tables, waiters in berets and red aprons, period counters and antique crockery. So here we are, far away from the city. A touch of the 50's mixed with rurality and a few amusing details. The kitchen also plays the scales of toast and tradition. For a rosette and gherkins toast, the boards, hot toasts such as the one with Ambert oven and prunes or the one with salmon and horseradish cream. You can even go for gourmet sandwiches such as zucchini caviar, anchovies, emmental cheese au gratin, candied tomatoes and black olives: every day a new creation is proposed according to the products of the season. We eat simply but it's good. Without forgetting, a fine list of alcohols and old blends of the time. A Bistrot à tartines which makes happy people, many happy people...
