The elegant bistro and rotisserie with its celadon green façade recalls the colours of Montmartre. Located right next to the Congress Centre, the Café des Jacobins combines seasonality and local produce to offer a short menu. Its speciality? The chicken from Janzé roasted on the spot, but you can also taste grilled meats, mussels in season or ceviches. Sébastien Blot, the owner, has succeeded in his bet: his bistro is friendly and provided with good small dishes, boards and good small wines. With friends, you can enjoy Cancale oysters while taking advantage of the liveliness of the rue Saint-Malo. The terrace is very pleasant! Note that the bistro is also part of the suspended cafés.

Je suis récemment allée dîner au Café des Jacobins et j'ai été très agréablement surprise par ce restaurant de la rue de Saint-Malo où il est possible de dîner à l'intérieur ou en terrasse. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et aimable, le cadre est très sympa et l'ambiance est décontractée. Au menu (à l'ardoise), 5 entrées, 5 plats et 5 desserts, j'ai eu du mal à choisir tant tout me faisait envie (et étant végétarienne, j'ai apprécié avoir le choix entre plusieurs entrées et plats convenant à mon régime alimentaire). Le service a été assez rapide, les assiettes étaient copieuses, les ingrédients étaient frais et de qualité, tout était vraiment très bon, de l'entrée au dessert en passant par l'assiette de frites maison que nous avions commandée en guise d'apéro. Pour ne rien gâcher, j'ai trouvé les tarifs raisonnables compte tenu de la qualité. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Nous avons mangé pour la 2eme fois au Café des Jacobins et c'était encore très bon et très variés. Le service est au top et l'ambiance du resto très sympa. On reviendra pour plusieurs fois encore très certainement.
