At 50 m from the SNCF train station, the Astrid hotel is a possibility among others in the Rennes hotel facilities. The 30 rooms (for 1 to 3 people) with traditional comfort (TV, wi-fi, etc.) have been renovated. Despite this, the decor is very personal, starting with the seats and the candlestick at the reception. The dark rooms and the hazardous choice of black painting for the walls give an almost stuffy atmosphere, adding to the narrowness of the rooms. The beds are soft - beware of your back! - And plastic furniture - always black. The reception is correct, but it is a place not very affordable, just practical for one night and to be sure not to miss the train.
