It took four years to transform the magnificent former Hôtel de la Monnaie into a four-star hotel with a distinctive personality. The Mama Shelter seduces locals and visitors alike with 119 elegant rooms featuring the Mama Touch: a personalized note handwritten on the mirror, superhero masks hanging from lamps near the bed... We're fans of the touches of Breton culture skilfully distilled by talented designer Benjamin El Doghaïli: black and white tiles in the bathroom (a nod to the Breton flag), Odorico-style mosaics featuring Breton galettes, carpets reminiscent of the famous refrain "J'entends le loup, le renard et la welette" ("I hear the wolf, the fox and the weasel")... Special mention for the rooftop overlooking Place des Lices, Les Horizons and Saint-Georges Cathedral. The Mama Shelter boasts a magnificent, candy-colored indoor pool, three karaoke rooms and a panoramic restaurant with breathtaking views.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour le réveillon du nouvel an.
Chambre confort et déco design dans tout l’établissement.
Nous avons pu tester le spa, avec un massage duo, ou le personnel est au petit soin pour nous faire passer un super moment.
Concernant l’espace piscine/sauna, celui ci est magnifique???? mais le seul point négatif a notre séjour : l’eau de la piscine est vraiment trop froide pour un mois de janvier. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de celle-ci, ce qui est vraiment dommage, car sinon c’est un sans faute.
