The printed contemporary art tells you something? The book as artistic object in itself, in its form, its ownership, its content… And not just the book: Badges, stickers, Dvds, vinyl, games, posters, all forms of impressions are welcome… Because if the Place is an independent publisher whose profession is an integral part of the artwork, it is also a boiling bookshop. Four times a year, the house gives a blank card to artists to make BOP (for Big Offset Posters), huge posters printed in quadrichromy. Everything seems allowed in this place where the experiment gently takes command, sometimes accessible, sometimes a little less and so much better. There are also exhibitions, as the publisher is part of an extensive network of local and international artistic structures. We strongly recommend the detour, not far from the train station…
