LES ATELIERS DU VENT
Members of this group of artists living in an ancient factory are with ideas. An area of artistic experimentation animated by a multi-disciplinary spirit, place of residence and exhibition attached to the sharing of competences and the diversity of the public, Les Ateliers du Vent has occupied since 2007 an unusual and unusual space in Rennes: the old Picard plant in Cleunay district. The City of Rennes decided in June 2006 to retain these buildings identified by the collective and to support a project where artists are at the heart of the initiative. The wind workshops are identified nationally as "new territory of art". This place has become indispensable in Rennes both in terms of the artistic quality of the projects carried out and in the involvement of the place and its actors with the local population. Since 2010 the location has been staffed by Amap. Local residents can buy fruits and vegetables every Thursday evening.
