GALERIE DU CLOITRE - ECOLE EUROPÉENNE SUPÉRIEURE D'ART DE BRETAGNE
This gallery is located inside the School of Fine Arts. The building hidden behind a high stone façade is articulated around a green courtyard and walking around this courtyard is the cloister. A real audacity because this gallery offers local students and artists work. There's everything, and sometimes the visitor can feel puzzled by the creep creations of this lab of school students. Creations try with the limits of contemporary art and explore new ways to question the real. It is a question of going there regularly because the clashes of new works are two to three times a month. In general, exhibitions are installed for a week or two. In this monument classified as the city's heritage, the historical side of the stones offers a beautiful contrast to the work exhibited. To access the exhibition room, you will browse the cloister where works mark your steps: paintings, sculptures, photographs… then you access this 70 m ² room where a cultural mediator will make you discover the secrets of the work. Another cloister room presents the work of students at the School of Fine Arts every week. A quiet and quiet place that slices with the party of the works presented!
