With Le Bateau Ivre, you will find exposed beams, small tables of all shapes, small organic dishes at lunchtime, and a good atmosphere that makes this place charming. What we like the most is the diversity of customers. There are few bars in Rennes where youths mingle with veterans, where families with children share space with beardless high school students. Do not think that Le Bateau Ivre lacks personality. It is full of it! This is all about the bar, a real living place, where there is always something happening, whether planned or not. Exhibitions, concerts, canal B evenings, DJ or slam parties, the bar plays a big part in Rennes' cultural life, to our greatest happiness. Unpretentious, Le Bateau Ivre therefore traces its wandering around. Anybody can get on board, provided that the person is open-minded. Nice trip!
