One of the most beautiful night bars in Rennes. Situated in an old building in the historic centre, the Place consists of four rooms on two levels and as many different atmospheres as the night: Amsterdam, Latin, Privateer and Elephant bar. The ground floor, with its Amsterdam and Privateer rooms, welcomes mainly those who want to dance, the music being frankly club/house, with heavy volume! We honestly prefer the floor. The Elephants is an Indian decoration hall, a very Bollywood den guarded by two huge pachyderms statues. There is a comfortable drink for a drink, with a more pop-rock. Another atmosphere of Latin, as Exotic but even more Festive! The music is more varied, it even goes to old tubes of the sixties, for those that the 150 techno guitars leave indifferent or heart. There are also frequent salsa evenings. A good choice of cocktails, including the inevitable mojito, and a refreshing caïpirinha after sweated on the dancefloor. A beautiful place on 300 m 2 (!), different atmospheres, good mix issued by the home DJ, f. deMeerss. One of the "places to be" for the birds at night.
